Cycle - Home to RTC and back

Finally!!!  I took out my newly tuned up road bike today.  It has new cables, housing and breaks to name a few of the things that were replace.  It also was cleaned up of all the dirt and grime of spring that had accumulated.

It was a great ride.  The temperature started in the mid 70’s and ended in the mid 80’s.  I pushed the pace during parts of the ride - especially the 5 miles of mostly hills back to my house at the end.  I kept my HR in the 170’s for long periods of time, and was able to tolerate it without very much discomfort.

I ended up riding the hills in my middle chain ring - a sign that I have fairly good fitness.  In addition I averaged 15 mph on the ride - again a fairly good sign of fitness for me on this ride.

It was a great ride.
