Cycle - Lake McMurray to La Conner and back
Cycled with Mark up at his house. It was another hot day with temps in the 80’s. There was also a stiff wind coming from the SW.
We started out with the intention of it just being an easy ride, but we both were feeling good, and ended up going faster than we thought we would.
I am starting to get out of the saddle and push it on small hills, another sign I am starting to get some fitness. I drove my HR into the 170’s a few times without difficulty. My legs were a little dead from yesterday’s ride, but my lunges felt good.

Fantastic - it’s those easy rides, where going further . . . and further than planned seems like a great idea, that tell you you’re doing all the right things with your training.
