Courage Classic is in the books
I haven’t posted my workouts from the ride yet, but thought I’d let everyone know I’m back and I made it.
There were around 600 riders in this year’s courage classic. Some riders have done it all 16 years the ride has been around. It looked like over half the cyclists were repeat riders. The stickiness of the riders is attributed to the cause the ride supports. After listening to the difference the Mary Bridge hospital makes for abused children, I was proud to be a part of it.
Thanks to all of you who supported me for this ride. As I was reminded heading to the top of every climb - you did it for the kids!!!
Also - stop by and welcome Steve as a new addition to Sweat365. We camped next to each other Sunday night and got to know each other a little bit. He is a great guy and I suspect a really good runner.
Here are links to the daily rides:

Fitness Over Forty » Feeling tired says:
[...] Yesterday I walked at lunch and in the evening I did an hour on the spin bike. That shouldn’t leave me feeling tired. So I went back and looked at my logbook, and I have worked out 12 days in a row. The streak started with the Courage Classic and the three mountain passes. Since then I haven’t missed a day where I’ve at least walked. Most days I have cycled. [...]
