Cycle around Lake Washington

Cycled around Lake Washington with Lisa, Shelley, and Mitch.  It was Mitch and Shelley’s first time around the lake.  We took our time and had fun.  Even stopped and hung out at the Starbucks in Leschi.

Hiked Monument Ridge

Hiked Monument Ridge with Lisa, Mark and Natasha.  Oh, and Murphy came as well, along with Mark’s dog Oz.

This was Lisa and Natasha’s first visit to the monuments.  It was an 86 degree day, very hot!  Murphy found a mud puddle, and stuck his face in it.  He hiked the rest of the way half covered in mud.  What can I say, he just turned 8 months old, and he is clearly still a puppy.

Cycle Simonds, Juanita, and Brier Hills

Did a three hill loop from my house - 3 hills, roughly 1,500 feet of elevation. Rode up Simonds without using my granny; rode up Juanita and Brier hills in my middle ring. All these are good signs for me - especially when I consider how little I’ve worked out in the last six months.
