Run/walk on treadmill

taking it easy on my calf.  went to PT for active release, and I think it’s starting to help.  Starting doing the ART for my left calf, and it is no longer a problem.

Took Murphy with me.  That definitely cost me a couple of minutes.

My right calf is still bugging me, so I am walking more than I want.

My left calf started bugging me.  I am having it looked at in PT.  It use to be my right calf that bothered me, but PT has made it a lot better.

Ran outside for the first time

Ran/Walk.  Found it was too hard to try and time my running and walking, so I just went by how I felt.

Ran/Walked for 30 minutes, covered 2.4 miles.

My left hamstring was tight,  I felt my shins (although they are getting better), and my calf felt good.  I am fairly certain that the stair climbing reps are helping stretch out my calf in a good way.

Run/Walk on Treadmill

My first time running this week.  Last Saturday’s stair session really trashed my calfs, and I am only now able to walk up and down stairs easily.  Of course I am going to do another stair session this Saturday.

I still feel my shins a bit, but this was the easiest time I have had running so far.  I want to build up slowly and follow my game plan, but I felt like I could have run a lot more of the two miles.

walked 1:50 and ran 1:10.

Shins still feel it.  I think I could run more, but I am afraid my calf will start acting up.  Maybe its best to not run more as it would probably bug my shins more.

My shins bothered me more than on Sunday, but I did pretty much the same workout.  Walked for 2 minutes, ran for 1 minute.

My goal is to just get comfortable running right now.
